An extravagance Massachusetts resort has been sued by a lady with a nut sensitivity who arrived in the doctor's facility in the wake of being served a veggie burger containing cashews.
The Berkshire Eagle reports that the suit documented in government court in Springfield this week against Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort in Lenox alleges negligence, breach of guarantee, break of agreement and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional trouble. It looks for unspecified harms.
Kristin Chu Smart, of New York City, says she and her mom paid $3,000 for an end of the week at the resort in December 2017.
Smart says she informed various staff at the resort, including her server, she was adversely affected by nuts and was guaranteed there were none in her food.
